Adam Griffy is the Chief Clinical Officer at ZLD Partners and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two decades of experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, and medical settings. He brings specialized expertise in cognitive behavioral neuroscience and advanced clinical mental health practices, with a track record of leading high-performing teams and building innovative, sustainable treatment systems from the ground up.

At ZLD Partners, Adam oversees the creation, development, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of behavioral health facility operations. This includes consultation on facility layout and logistical design to ensure operational efficiency and clinical adaptability, tailored to the specific treatment model and level of care each facility will provide. He also leads clinical and operational program development, comprehensive multi-disciplinary training initiatives, and ensuring long-term operational and clinical sustainability. His work is rooted in a trauma-informed, client-centered philosophy, while also providing innovative, scalable strategies that meet the evolving needs of both clients and business operators.

Prior to joining ZLD Partners, Adam held a variety of leadership and clinical positions that shaped his comprehensive understanding of behavioral healthcare systems. He served as a Director of Implementation, where he led multi-disciplinary rollouts of medical, nursing, clinical, and logistical systems across new and expanding treatment facilities nationwide. As a Regional Clinical Director, he oversaw clinical operations and quality of care across a nationwide network of treatment sites, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory standards. In his role as a Clinical Consultant, he provided targeted support to organizations seeking strategic and therapeutic realignment. His earlier experience includes work as a Medical Social Worker and as a Mobile Crisis Intervention Clinician, where he responded to acute psychiatric emergencies and provided field-based stabilization services for clients ranging from children to adults. He also worked extensively as an individual, group, and family therapist in a wide range of care settings.

In 2023, Adam launched his own clinical private practice, continuing his commitment to direct care and entrepreneurial innovation within the mental health field.

Before entering the behavioral health field, Adam served six years active duty in the United States Navy as a Fleet Marine Force (FMF) Corpsman with multiple combat deployments to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). His personal and professional philosophy draws from Stoic principles and the logic-based clarity of Commander Spock — prioritizing discipline, adaptability, and purpose-driven action in both leadership and life.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys being a father and spending time with his family, studying philosophy and Greek literature, connecting with nature, and participating in food competitions.
